  2. The return of the Son of Man (v.24-27)
    • Jesus will come back in power and glory.
    • Principle: Our hope is in Christ, who will gather His people.
  3. The fig tree and the call to vigilance (v.28-37)
    • Jesus urges us to stay alert and be ready at all times.
    • Principle: We do not know the day or hour, so we must remain faithful.

C. Psalm 50:1-23 – Worship That Pleases God

  • God desires not just sacrifices but a sincere heart (v.7-15).
  • Those who despise His word will be judged (v.16-22).
  • Principle: True worship is found in obedience and gratitude.

  • Are we sincere in our worship, or is it just a routine?
  • How can we express genuine gratitude to God?

D. Proverbs 10:29-30 – The Security of the Righteous

  • The way of the Lord is a refuge for the upright (v.29).
  • The wicked will be uprooted, but the righteous will stand firm (v.30).
  • Principle: Integrity in God ensures eternal stability.

  • How can we remain firm in faith despite trials?
  • What is our assurance in Christ for the future?
